Thanks to the efforts of all the staffs who have been involved in the program, English education under the new curriculum has gradually stabilized, and is currently undergoing further development. The author will propose more matured educational methods for facilitating English proficiency of relatively advanced level learners of English at this university. Specifically, the importance of improving the students'English communicative competence, crosscultural literacy and autonomous English learning competence is emphasized.
